Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maximilian Svanberg started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Påarp IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Svanberg came free, but Folke Biörk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aston support's Gösta Juhlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Aston support from getting a goal against them. Påarp IFK's Eric Fridlund got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Axel Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Axel Bergström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Gösta Juhlin made a huge save. Evert Dahlquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Juhlin having to interfere. If Eric Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes, Eric Fridlund made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Aston support's Gösta Juhlin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Folke Biörk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Svanberg in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Aston support's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Fridlund came free, but Gösta Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Påarp IFK booed when Aston support was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Forssberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Fridlund in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Juhlin saved Aston support from getting behind. If Eric Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eric Fridlund made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Kennet Ståhlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
