An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Blomquist in the 8th minute of play forced Bruzaholm's goalkeeper Henrik Grönlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jörn Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anton Vassenius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ingvar Hård showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Valentin Ekeberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lokomotiv Kiev's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bruzaholm the free kick. The supporters of Bruzaholm booed when Lokomotiv Kiev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Ekeberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Klas Ståhlberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anton Vassenius was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 25th match minute, Lokomotiv Kiev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Grönlund to maneuver through the defense. Anton Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Hård in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Hård in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Vassenius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ingvar Hård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Hård in the 34th minute of play. Elof Fristedt's late challenge caught a Bruzaholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elof Fristedt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bruzaholm booed when Lokomotiv Kiev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Hård made a kick off. Henrik Grönlund was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Jörn Gustavsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jörn Gustavsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 59th minute Klas Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Grönlund was a little too slow when Torbjörn Blomquist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-2. 70 minutes into the game, Bruzaholm's Klas Ståhlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Vassenius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Jörn Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76th play minutes Jörn Gustavsson shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Henrik Grönlund and just under the crossbar into goal. Henrik Grönlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Gustavsson in the 81st minute. Anton Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Ståhlberg in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Lokomotiv Kiev getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Valentin Ekeberg hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Lövkvist during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anton Vassenius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Hård's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Lokomotiv Kiev's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
