Tim Ahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Anton Vassenius was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Markus Haström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Markus Haström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Valentin Ekeberg scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Sjöberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Jörn Gustavsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. William Sjöberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute Jörn Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jörn Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Dark Souls defense, Torbjörn Blomquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Sjöberg. The Dark Souls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Sjöberg should have stopped the shot. William Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Blomquist in the 26th minute of the match. William Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Blomquist in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elof Fristedt during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Lokomotiv Kiev got a freekick which was hit by Elof Fristedt. 33 minutes into the game, Markus Haström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anton Vassenius. Markus Haström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Markus Haström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Vassenius having to make a save. Åke Grönlund kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Jörn Gustavsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Blomquist notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Dark Souls's William Sjöberg. William Sjöberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Lokomotiv Kiev were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torbjörn Blomquist made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Richard Browall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lokomotiv Kiev's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Souls the free kick. After 53 played minutes Lokomotiv Kiev got a freekick which was hit by Richard Browall. Markus Haström struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Anton Vassenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Souls. Markus Haström scored 3-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Vassenius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torbjörn Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Sjöberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Åkerström in the 76th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Kiev's goalkeeper Anton Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Markus Haström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lokomotiv Kiev getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Douglas Boberg hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Dark Souls's goalkeeper William Sjöberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Gustavsson. 92 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Kiev's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Haström came free, but Anton Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lokomotiv Kiev eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
