Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olof Kiempe started the match with the kick off. Markus Haström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Nicklas Lindqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Åkerström in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicklas Lindqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, Dark Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Ahlbom to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match, Olof Kiempe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but William Sjöberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Markus Haström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Östervåla's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Haström came free, but Nicklas Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Dark Souls:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Östervåla:s goal. Stig Albäck placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Andréas Kvick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Sjöberg having to make a save. Björn Hellgren kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Stig Albäck charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Albäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, one of Östervåla:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Östervåla. In the 43rd minute, Tim Ahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Tim Ahlbom made a precise shot to the right of Nicklas Lindqvist. Östervåla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

William Sjöberg came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Östervåla's Olof Kiempe. But to his dismay, Olof Kiempe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 63 played minutes, Östervåla's Ian Nyman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Sjöberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Östervåla reached it. If Andréas Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andréas Kvick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. William Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Sjöberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olof Kiempe went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, Andréas Kvick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Sjöberg. Dark Souls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andréas Kvick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. A collision led to Östervåla getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Walter Uggla hit a great ball. When Andréas Kvick came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Östervåla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andréas Kvick couldn't finish the play. Björn Hellgren hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Östervåla's Olof Kiempe got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Kvick in the 95th minute of the match. If Olof Kiempe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Östervåla's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
