An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Alefors in the 3rd minute of play forced Dark Souls's goalkeeper William Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Haström in the 9th minute of play forced Diö's goalkeeper Marcus Edström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emanuel Åkerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diö's Conny Alefors got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conny Alefors's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Sjöberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Conny Alefors came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Diö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conny Alefors couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dark Souls's Sven-Edvin Granberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dark Souls's goalkeeper William Sjöberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Bror Drake put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of William Sjöberg. After 37 played minutes Diö got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Danielsson. Emanuel Åkerström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Marcus Edström made a huge save. Emanuel Åkerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dark Souls's Sverker Hökkvist got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Bror Drake might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Sjöberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bror Drake ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Markus Haström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Bror Drake managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diö's supporters rose to their feet, but Bror Drake was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Sjöberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Dark Souls's Tim Ahlbom got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Diö defense, Markus Haström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Edström. The Diö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Edström should have stopped the shot. Dark Souls's William Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Drake in the 70th minute of play. If Bror Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vidar Nordmark took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcus Edström. Diö's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Diö's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Åkerström came free, but Marcus Edström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Åkerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Edström having to interfere. Emanuel Åkerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dark Souls's Tim Ahlbom got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Diö booed when Dark Souls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Ahlbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Dark Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Ek to maneuver through the defense. William Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
