Fred Brask made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Törnblom in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Jörgen Skark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linneryd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koks och kastruller the free kick. After having played for 15 minutes, Stig-Åke Törnblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koks och kastruller's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Åke Törnblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jon Joensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Koks och kastruller's Claes Nordström got a free kick in the 18th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Jon Joensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linneryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Joensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Koks och kastruller was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Vik to maneuver through the defense. If Jon Joensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Linneryd's Kenneth Broberg got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl Vik hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Linneryd's Kenneth Broberg in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jörgen Skark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Brask having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Törnblom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Brask. Linneryd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Åke Törnblom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Koks och kastruller booed when Linneryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Broberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Broberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Josefsson having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörgen Skark to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Vik in the 57th minute of play forced Linneryd's goalkeeper Fred Brask to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Brask made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Stig-Åke Törnblom sent off a good shot on target. Per Odin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Fred Brask made a huge save. When Per Odin fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koks och kastruller's protests and gave Per Odin a yellow card for diving instead. Per Odin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Stig-Åke Törnblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fred Brask tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fred Brask made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Skark in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Linneryd's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Skark came free, but Fred Brask reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Koks och kastruller's Kent Österberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Fred Brask despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Jörgen Skark elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Jörgen Skark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Linneryd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Koks och kastruller's performance. The match ended with a win for Koks och kastruller.
