Blue Saints's Nils-Åke Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Salqvist in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Blue Saints getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. John Håkansson hit a great ball. When Christoffer Rosendahl came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Blue Saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoffer Rosendahl couldn't finish the play. After having played for 20 minutes, Edward Ståhlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bjärtrå's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Ståhlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Dag Siggman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue Saints's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bjärtrå the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Blue Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Siggman to maneuver through the defense. If Ulf Hultin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bjärtrå's Anders Levander got control of the ball when Christoffer Rosendahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Bjärtrå's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Hultin came free, but Anders Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Blue Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Ståhlberg in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Åke Danielsson saved Blue Saints from getting behind. With his leg Anders Levander managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Blue Saints's Christoffer Rosendahl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulf Hultin made a kick off. A collision led to Blue Saints getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. John Håkansson hit a great ball. Nils-Åke Danielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Salqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Henry Salqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nils-Åke Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Blue Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patric Springfält to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Åke Danielsson made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Edward Ståhlberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute of the match, Edward Ståhlberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nils-Åke Danielsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 86th minute Christoffer Rosendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Levander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christoffer Rosendahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Levander was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Henry Salqvist struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nils-Åke Danielsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bjärtrå. Nils-Åke Danielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Salqvist in the 96th minute of play. The Bjärtrå players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Blue Saints from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
