Spectators: 7178 (Terracing: 5531, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tyresö FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vallentuna the free kick. Claes Benet, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mattias Kleen's late challenge caught a Vallentuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Kleen helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Tyresö FF's Conny Sjöö got control of the ball when Stergios Soulakas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stergios Soulakas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conny Sjöö having to make a save. Eric Norberg took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conny Sjöö. Conny Sjöö dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Stergios Soulakass short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Conny Sjöö to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Vallentuna's Conny Sjöö threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stergios Soulakas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Conny Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stergios Soulakas, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Vallentuna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 73 minutes into the game, Stergios Soulakas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Conny Sjöö was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claes Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Sjöö having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Eric Norberg put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Conny Sjöö. Conny Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Norberg in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Stergios Soulakas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Norberg in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Sjöö saved Tyresö FF from getting behind. If Stergios Soulakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vallentuna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
