Sören Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Västerstrand having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yngve Boström in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Västerstrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Valentin Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ove Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Andersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilbert Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ove Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Yngve Boström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timmersdala RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yngve Boström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Västerstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sören Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hjuvik FC's Robert Västerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngve Boström in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Sören Mårtensson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hjuvik FC's Robert Västerstrand. Robert Västerstrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Yngve Boström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ove Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Kruuse in the 62nd minute of the match. When Timmersdala RK's Yngve Boström in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joacim Pil's late challenge caught a Timmersdala RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joacim Pil helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hjuvik FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Joacim Pil hit a great ball.
