The Kûcik Bavas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Bergkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Pål Vibjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Bergkvist in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Gerdberg in the 18th minute of play forced The Kûcik Bavas's goalkeeper Jan Beckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tvärred's George Bergfelt got a free kick in the 26th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Beckman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sonny Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Stenberg in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Pål Vibjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Bergkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Beckman having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Blom during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
