In the 7th minute, Lyrestad's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pål Vibjörnsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 9th minute, Pål Vibjörnsson made a precise shot to the right of Axel Ström. Lyrestad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Reine Ahlén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Kûcik Bavas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyrestad the free kick. After 12 played minutes The Kûcik Bavas got a freekick which was hit by Reine Ahlén. In the 14th match minute, The Kûcik Bavas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Malm to maneuver through the defense. Kennet Biörkquist took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Beckman. Jan Beckman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Axel Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Vibjörnsson in the 23rd minute of the match. Jan Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Biörkquist in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Lyrestad's Axel Ström got control of the ball when Per-Oskar Stenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute Kennet Biörkquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Beckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Lyrestad got a freekick which was hit by Karl Gunnarsson. 38 minutes into the match, Lyrestad's goalkeeper Axel Ström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Oskar Stenberg. The audience was convinced that Pål Vibjörnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Ström was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Lyrestad's Sven-Erik Söderman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan Beckman. That made the score 2-4 after 61 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lyrestad's zone, Pål Vibjörnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Ström came out of the goal and Pål Vibjörnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pål Vibjörnsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Axel Ström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lyrestad's Nicklas Haeger got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Reine Ahlén was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. The supporters of Lyrestad booed when The Kûcik Bavas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reine Ahlén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lyrestad's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
