The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Edvard Rudberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Manfred Alfors was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manfred Alfors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Dahlberg in the 15th minute of the match. Edvard Rudberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manfred Alfors. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvard Rudberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18thth minute of the game Arman Eklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jönköpings Södra IF's Yngve Boman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ture Finman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Kjellqvist's late challenge caught a Svågertorp FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Kjellqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jönköpings Södra IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kevin Kjellqvist hit a great ball. Svågertorp FF's Manfred Alfors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Svågertorp FF from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Arman Eklund notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jönköpings Södra IF's Yngve Boman. Yngve Boman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the game, Arman Eklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Yngve Boman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arman Eklund made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Jönköpings Södra IF's Elias Rolfsson got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jönköpings Södra IF's Edvard Rudberg got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvard Rudberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Edvard Rudberg notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Svågertorp FF's Manfred Alfors. Manfred Alfors was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Svågertorp FF's Arman Eklund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yngve Boman. That made the score 2-3 after 72 minutes of play. Jönköpings Södra IF's Edvard Rudberg got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jönköpings Södra IF's zone, Ture Finman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yngve Boman came out of the goal and Ture Finman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfred Alfors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Rudberg in the 83rd minute of the match. Ture Finman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Yngve Boman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Tor Olofsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jönköpings Södra IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svågertorp FF the free kick. Ture Finman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Yngve Boman made a huge save. The Svågertorp FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
