Jan-Åke Månsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Hällby Hellballers getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Christopher Mattsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Skillz of Borås defense, Dag Sundberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Haeger. The Skillz of Borås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Haeger should have stopped the shot. If Jan Heggert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Sjö in the 44th minute of play forced Hällby Hellballers's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvin Blom hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dag Sundberg to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Skillz of Borås defense, Dag Sundberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Haeger. The Skillz of Borås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Haeger should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agne Kilman during the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Hällby Hellballers's Christopher Mattsson got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute Erling Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dag Sundberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalle Haeger was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Jan-Åke Månsson made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Jan Heggert sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Gråberg kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Many of Skillz of Borås's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Skillz of Borås may have spent more time on the ball, but Hällby Hellballers were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
