Kungshamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottfrid Biörnberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kungshamn's Helge Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Henriksson in the 17th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gottfrid Biörnberg to make the kick off. When Sven-Edvin Hegg fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kungshamn's protests and gave Sven-Edvin Hegg a yellow card for diving instead. Kungshamn were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bullmark to leave the ground with a draw.
