The referee ignored Frösö BK's protests and gave David Ahlström a yellow card for diving instead. David Ahlström kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Alf Julin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Frösö BK's goalkeeper Stellan Spetz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Elliott Boklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frösö BK and the Eskilstuna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eskilstuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Julin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eskilstuna's Roger Mossberg in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elliott Boklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, David Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alf Julin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Stellan Spetz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eskilstuna's Alf Julin got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alf Julin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Eskilstuna booed when Frösö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Ahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stellan Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Mossberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Eskilstuna's Roger Mossberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stellan Spetz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
