If Linus Karlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Käcker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Bröms having to interfere. Gafete FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Henrik Vestlund 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 21st minute, Roger Mossberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingmar Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Mossberg in the 23rd minute of the match. If Simon Torsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Vestlund kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Eskilstuna got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Vestlund. After 38 played minutes Gafete FC got a freekick which was hit by Aron Käcker. Ingmar Björnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Gafete FC's goalkeeper Ingmar Björnberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Karlberg. Alf Julin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ingmar Björnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Torsberg made a kick off. Linus Karlberg scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingmar Björnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Josefsson during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Eskilstuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gafete FC booed when Eskilstuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Karlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingmar Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Vestlund in the 77th minute of play. Ingmar Björnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Julin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Mossberg in the 80th minute of play forced Gafete FC's goalkeeper Ingmar Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Roger Mossberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ingmar Björnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Bröms made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Simon Torsberg sent off a good shot on target. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Eskilstuna were victorious despite being under pressure from Gafete FC for much of the match.
