With a little luck, Eskilstuna's Dan Bröms got control of the ball when Lucas Alströmmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alf Julin struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Stig Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eskilstuna. Stig Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Mossberg in the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Eskilstuna's zone, Lucas Alströmmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Bröms came out of the goal and Lucas Alströmmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Roger Mossberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Roger Mossberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duvbo FC's Stig Berg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Roger Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Alströmmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Alströmmer made a kick off. Lukas Tidéksson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dan Bröms. Eskilstuna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Lucas Alströmmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Stig Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Lucas Alströmmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Bröms having to make a save. After having played for 67 minutes, Alf Julin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eskilstuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Julin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 minutes of play, Duvbo FC's Lucas Alströmmer made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Bröms was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 74 played minutes Eskilstuna got a freekick which was hit by Linus Karlberg. In the 80th minute, Gustaf Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Alströmmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dan Bröms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Eskilstuna defense, Otto Askelöf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Bröms. The Eskilstuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Bröms should have stopped the shot. Lucas Alströmmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Duvbo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eskilstuna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
