Arne Wästerberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Svante Vikström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute Sven Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mårten Rydberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Njurunda BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mårten Rydberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Wästerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Larsson couldn't finish the play. Mårten Rydberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Arne Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svante Vikström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Sundling during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
