Aron Bogren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Alin's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game David Alin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liden's Aron Bogren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Alin struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Aron Bogren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skärholmen. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Alin in the 22nd minute of play forced Liden's goalkeeper Aron Bogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Åke Kvarnström kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, David Alin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skärholmen's supporters rose to their feet, but David Alin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Bogren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Conny Nordin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Bogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Fogel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Bålström in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Henric Svartengren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skärholmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liden the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Orvar Jernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conny Nordin to strike the kick off in the second half. Orvar Jernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Fogel having to interfere. Mattias Fogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Jernberg in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orvar Jernberg during the 62nd minute. Bo Billberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Brian Walroth sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Skärholmen's Mattias Fogel didn't even have to move. When Orvar Jernberg came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Liden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orvar Jernberg couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Liden's goalkeeper Aron Bogren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Alin. After having played for 73 minutes, David Alin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skärholmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Alin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aron Bogren was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Conny Nordin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Conny Nordin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. If David Alin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Skärholmen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
