After 4 minutes, Östen Jansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Spartak Lindesberg and the Revolutionary FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Östen Jansson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Nils Rönn kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Leif Mårtensson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Spartak Lindesberg's Kjell Haraldsson didn't even have to move. Kjell Haraldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Magnus Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Haraldsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Magnus Öberg went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. FC Spartak Lindesberg's Kjell Haraldsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Öberg in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Askestät in the 24th minute of play forced Revolutionary FC's goalkeeper Per-Arne Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Ugglas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Per-Arne Blomkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in FC Spartak Lindesberg's zone, Karl-Magnus Öberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Haraldsson came out of the goal and Karl-Magnus Öberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Revolutionary FC's Pontus Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jon Askestät was the one to do the kick off. If Jon Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Revolutionary FC defense, Jon Askestät kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Arne Blomkvist. The Revolutionary FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Arne Blomkvist should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Revolutionary FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Esbjörn Finnman hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC Spartak Lindesberg's Rune Hellqvist tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pontus Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Kjell Haraldsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revolutionary FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Rönn during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pontus Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Spartak Lindesberg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Karl-Magnus Öberg scored to the left of an out of position Kjell Haraldsson, making the score, 1-3. Per-Arne Blomkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Askestät in the 93rd minute of the match. The FC Spartak Lindesberg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Revolutionary FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Revolutionary FC.
