Björn Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Skoglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kennet Käcker got free with Gustav Strömberg in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th match minute, Kalsongernas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Jelm to maneuver through the defense. Kennet Käcker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludvig Skoglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Nordgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gustav Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Kalsongernas IF's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Nordgren came free, but Gustav Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Ludvig Skoglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Biörnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gustav Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Johan Jelm hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Vadberg BK's Gustav Strömberg threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niclas Nordgren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vadberg BK's goalkeeper Björn Wallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludvig Skoglund was the one to do the kick off. Niclas Nordgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gustav Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kalsongernas IF's zone, Inge Samuelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustav Strömberg came out of the goal and Inge Samuelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustav Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Nordgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Kalsongernas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Gregersson to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Kennet Käcker notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kalsongernas IF's Gustav Strömberg. Gustav Strömberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl-Johan Jelm charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Johan Jelm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vadberg BK booed when Kalsongernas IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Jelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kennet Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalsongernas IF's Gustav Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Käcker in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Kalsongernas IF's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Nordgren came free, but Gustav Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Biörnberg's late challenge caught a Kalsongernas IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Biörnberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vadberg BK's Tommy Biörnberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ludvig Skoglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalsongernas IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludvig Skoglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vadberg BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
