Spectators: 7148 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 20) Alfta's Jonathan Siggesson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes FC Tanedva got a freekick which was hit by Kent Flink. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Siggesson in the 11th minute of play forced FC Tanedva's goalkeeper Joseph Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Tanedva's zone, Jonathan Siggesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Ek came out of the goal and Jonathan Siggesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joseph Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Siggesson in the 17th minute of the match. When Viktor Sundin came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Alfta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Sundin couldn't finish the play. Viktor Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Sundin in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Ek saved FC Tanedva from getting behind. Joseph Ek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonathan Siggesson struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Joseph Ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfta. In the 44th minute, Jonathan Siggesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Sundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joseph Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikael Boberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joseph Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Siggesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, FC Tanedva's Joseph Ek got control of the ball when Viktor Sundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Tanedva getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jens-Åke Kalfhage hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elof Västerberg during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
