With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conny Lange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conny Lange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Sundin in the 11th minute of play. If Viktor Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Siggesson got in the 14th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Conny Lange handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Alexander Allbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alf Kjellbom charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Kjellbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alf Kjellbom hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Alfta's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Allbom came free, but Villiam Hernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Allbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Hernström having to interfere. A collision led to Alfta getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tord Wennerquist hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Viktor Sundin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conny Lange was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Adel FF's Conny Lange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Siggesson in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Adel FF's zone, Jonathan Siggesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Lange came out of the goal and Jonathan Siggesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villiam Hernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Allbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Viktor Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Allbom made a kick off. Dennis Skark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Hernström having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alfta's Bernt Kiempe got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Adel FF's zone, Viktor Sundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Lange came out of the goal and Viktor Sundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conny Lange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Siggesson in the 68th minute of play. Alexander Allbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Villiam Hernström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Dennis Skark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adel FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Skark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Villiam Hernström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Dennis Skark notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Alfta's Villiam Hernström. Villiam Hernström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Villiam Hernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Skark, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Alexander Allbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Hernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Alfta's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Allbom came free, but Villiam Hernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conny Lange made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Sundin in the 98th minute. The Alfta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alfta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
