The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Teckomatorp booed when Storå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 31 played minutes, Teckomatorp's Thor Vinström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kurt Ersman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Teckomatorp reached it. After 35 played minutes Storå got a freekick which was hit by Per Bergfeldt. 42 minutes into the match, Teckomatorp's Thor Vinström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Henrik Valström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teckomatorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Valström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Ersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Valström in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 52 played minutes Storå got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Enström. Kurt Ersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Lång in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Valström got free with Kurt Ersman in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robin Mogren kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Storå's Kurt Ersman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Lång in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Alex Bållström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storå's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Bållström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Boberg's late challenge caught a Storå's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With his leg Kurt Ersman managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Teckomatorp's Henrik Valström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute, Henrik Valström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bernt Lång had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Henrik Valström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teckomatorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Valström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Ersman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernt Lång could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Kurt Ersman made a huge save. Allan Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Thomas Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Teckomatorp players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
