After a rather tough play, Åre's Rickard Nyberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börge Abelsson in the 30th minute of play forced Åre's goalkeeper Christer Siggesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Strömberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfons Snell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Bengt-Arne Lööf struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Christer Siggesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Envikens BK. Olof Esbjörnsson hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th minute, Kjell Källberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Snell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alf Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Snell having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Envikens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Strömberg came free, but Alfons Snell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Kjell Källberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Åre booed when Envikens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uno Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Arne Lööf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Christer Siggesson made a huge save. Olof Esbjörnsson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Alfons Snell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Lööf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Siggesson having to interfere. If Alf Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Envikens BK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Åre from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
