Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 0) Ulf Stenström made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Kainulasjärvi FK's Filiph Tidén got a free kick in the 6th minute. Djurgården IF's Anthon Grönlund shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dan Kiempe but with some difficulty. When Melker Juhlin came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Kainulasjärvi FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melker Juhlin couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Filiph Tidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villiam Täman in the 27th minute of play forced Kainulasjärvi FK's goalkeeper Dan Kiempe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Melker Juhlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knut Andersson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kainulasjärvi FK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Filiph Tidén hit a great ball. Uno Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dan Kiempe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Kainulasjärvi FK's Ulf Stenström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niclas Lundgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 42 minutes, Knut Andersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Djurgården IF and the Kainulasjärvi FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Djurgården IF got a freekick which was hit by Knut Andersson. The supporters of Djurgården IF booed when Kainulasjärvi FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Hellqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uno Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Kiempe having to interfere. The Djurgården IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kainulasjärvi FK were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Villiam Täman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulf Stenström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niclas Lundgren having to make a save. 52 minutes into the game, Pål Kinnman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Djurgården IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kainulasjärvi FK the free kick. Kainulasjärvi FK's Melker Juhlin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulf Stenström kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Djurgården IF's Uno Magnusson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Uno Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes in the game, Ulf Stenström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Niclas Lundgren having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Melker Juhlin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Niclas Lundgren, passed just outside the right post. 68 minutes into the match, Kainulasjärvi FK's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Magnusson came free, but Dan Kiempe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Kiempe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uno Magnusson in the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Melker Juhlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kainulasjärvi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Melker Juhlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Lundgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Ulf Stenström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ulf Stenström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niclas Lundgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Niclas Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Stenström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Juhlin came free, but Niclas Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kainulasjärvi FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
