Yngve Thedin's late challenge caught a Shadow Fotbollsklubb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Kjellman in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Vinström saved Shadow Fotbollsklubb from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Kjellman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hjalmar Grönlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Pelle Isaksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Andy Vinström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stig Lundhberg charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Lundhberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
