Magnus Odén charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Birger Fristedt did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Morgan Bruse 9 minutes into the match. Morgan Bruse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walter Östlund in the 11th minute. If Birger Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Östlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Dalström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stjärnsund's goalkeeper Morgan Bruse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Morgan Bruse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Ivar Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stjärnsund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivar Bergman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magnus Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kent Nordlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Tommy Klack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magnus Odén to strike the kick off in the second half. Svante Söderqwist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walter Östlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Morgan Bruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stjärnsund's Morgan Bruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Fristedt in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Stenhamra FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jörgen Kvick hit a great ball. When Svante Söderqwist fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stenhamra FK's protests and gave Svante Söderqwist a yellow card for diving instead. Magnus Mårtensson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 64 played minutes Stjärnsund got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Odén. Birger Fristedt struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Morgan Bruse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stenhamra FK. The audience was convinced that Walter Östlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Morgan Bruse was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Walter Östlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivar Bergman during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stjärnsund getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ivar Bergman hit a great ball. Morgan Bruse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Fristedt in the 78th minute of the match. Stenhamra FK's Birger Fristedt got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birger Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birger Fristedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Bruse having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Birger Fristedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Morgan Bruse was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Birger Fristedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Stenhamra FK were the better team. Stenhamra FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
