Vilhelm Hellgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bror Flink's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Sven-Olof Lilja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Tommy Musk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Hellgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Musk in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilhelm Hellgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Olof Tillman during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Nusnäs got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Tillman. Vilhelm Hellgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Algren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the Nusnäs defense, Douglas Thidén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilhelm Hellgren. The Nusnäs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilhelm Hellgren should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Tommy Musk made a precise shot to the right of Vilhelm Hellgren. Nusnäs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Bror Flink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Hellgren having to interfere. Vilhelm Hellgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Musk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernandez CF's Bror Flink got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Nusnäs getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sven-Olof Tillman hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Nusnäs defense, Tommy Musk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilhelm Hellgren. The Nusnäs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilhelm Hellgren should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Erik Mellbad to strike the kick off in the second half. Vilhelm Hellgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Thidén in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas Thidén during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Douglas Thidén kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Hernandez CF booed when Nusnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Tillman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Nusnäs got a freekick which was hit by Bo Hybbert. Tommy Musk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vilhelm Hellgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Tommy Musk slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Tommy Musk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hernandez CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Stig-Ove Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Abrahamsson having to interfere. Jan-Erik Mellbad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Verner Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernandez CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
