The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Kungsholmen FK's Magne Vallmark slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emil Harlén. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. August Strömqvist came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Tropico's Johan Blomqvist. But to his dismay, Johan Blomqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georg Stålberg got free with Emil Harlén in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magne Vallmark was the one to do the kick off. Tage Aleberg charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tage Aleberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tropico's Tage Aleberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. Georg Stålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Harlén having to interfere. Georg Stålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Emil Harlén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Blomqvist in the 71st minute of play forced Kungsholmen FK's goalkeeper August Strömqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Stålberg struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Emil Harlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kungsholmen FK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Vollander got free with August Strömqvist in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Kungsholmen FK's goalkeeper August Strömqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claes Vollander. Emil Harlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Stålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Johan Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Strömqvist having to interfere. If Claes Vollander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
