Boris Wester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Jonathan Alfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Alfors's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boris Wester was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The supporters of NAJS booed when Långasjö BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Dahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Wester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Alfors to make the kick off. Klas Hjortsberg hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A hard shot 57 in the game by Göran Backlund from a close distance when the talented Boris Wester managed to make a qualified save. Långasjö BF's players were relieved. Boris Wester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alfors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tension between the Långasjö BF and the NAJS players grew even worse after the yellow card.
