The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Alfred Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SandhedYoungGuns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Kasper Clementsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tobias Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Mellbad charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Munkfors IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Högström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Börje Biörkquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Stenkvist having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Lund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfred Jönsson scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conny Stenkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 61 in the game by Joel Högström from a close distance when the talented Simon Brogren managed to make a qualified save. SandhedYoungGuns's players were relieved. SandhedYoungGuns's Simon Brogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Lund in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Biörkquist in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Stenkvist saved Munkfors IK from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Joel Högström notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SandhedYoungGuns's Simon Brogren. Simon Brogren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Tobias Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Alfred Jönsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Munkfors IK's Conny Stenkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfred Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
