Ragnar Wickander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Tunander in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Per-Arne Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Wickander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Tunander in the 23rd minute of play forced NAJS's goalkeeper Ragnar Wickander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göran Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Axel Åkerström made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Torpedo Glejs FC's goalkeeper Axel Åkerström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Backlund. Jonathan Alfors struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Axel Åkerström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NAJS. 38 minutes into the match, Olof Tunander notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of NAJS's Ragnar Wickander. Ragnar Wickander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kaj Benet kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to NAJS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nicklas Unesson hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Arne Almkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olof Tunander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Wickander having to interfere. Göran Backlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th match minute, Torpedo Glejs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Benet to maneuver through the defense. Axel Åkerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes Torpedo Glejs FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Carlsson. 62 minutes into the game, Christer Påk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torpedo Glejs FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NAJS the free kick. The supporters of NAJS booed when Torpedo Glejs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Påk didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Göran Backlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Per-Arne Almkvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When NAJS's Göran Backlund in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torpedo Glejs FC's goalie prevented a goal. Olof Tunander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ragnar Wickander made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Torpedo Glejs FC's Östen Nyström got a free kick in the 94th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Göran Backlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NAJS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Backlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Torpedo Glejs FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
