Spectators: 7283 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Einar Finman started the match with the kick off. Charlie Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Sjödin having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Dannike got a freekick which was hit by Birger Höijer. Karl-Ove Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Finman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Einar Finman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Ove Sjödin was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. A collision led to Forsbacka getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Einar Lang hit a great ball. Jan Vacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Jan Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dannike's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Vacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Forsbacka got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Gustavsson. Birger Höijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Charlie Löfgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Ove Sjödin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt Gustavsson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Forsbacka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Jan Vacker scored to the left of an out of position Jarl Bergqvist, making the score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Högman to strike the kick off in the second half. Einar Finman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Ove Sjödin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. If Albert Högman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Forsbacka getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Erik Strömberg hit a great ball. Jarl Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Högman in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Finman in the 67th minute of play forced Dannike's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dannike fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Karl-Ove Sjödin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Löfgren in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Löfgren got free with Karl-Ove Sjödin in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Einar Finman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsbacka's supporters rose to their feet, but Einar Finman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Ove Sjödin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birger Höijer hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Birger Höijer hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Forsbacka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
