The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Åke Kielberg got free with Per Salkvist in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per Salkvist made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Kjell-Arne Lundström sent off a good shot on target. Rune Lustig charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fritz Källberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per Salkvist made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Kjell-Arne Lundström sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Oskar Westerberg made the kick off in the second half. Per Salkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Westerberg in the 52nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Per-Åke Kielberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Salkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Östra Gärdets AIK's Kurt Håkansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per Salkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Per Salkvist came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Östra Gärdets AIK's Kjell-Arne Lundström. But to his dismay, Kjell-Arne Lundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some careless play in the A-L-A-W defense, Oskar Westerberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per Salkvist. The A-L-A-W fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per Salkvist should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute Oskar Westerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Salkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Östra Gärdets AIK's Kurt Håkansson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per Salkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! A-L-A-W's Rune Lustig got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Rune Lustig off the ground. After a rather tough play, A-L-A-W's Rune Lustig got a free kick in the 90th minute. A-L-A-W's Per Salkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Westerberg in the 92nd minute of play. Fritz Källberg kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Östra Gärdets AIK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
