Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gunnar Aronsson got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Överum BF's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Lundström came free, but Marko Hammarberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Axelsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Överum BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 8th minute, Gunnar Aronsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Överum BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rickard Nordstedt was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Niklas Axelsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niklas Axelsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Marko Hammarberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Oskar Westerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Hammarberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklas Axelsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Överum BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Överum BF's zone, Kjell-Arne Lundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Hammarberg came out of the goal and Kjell-Arne Lundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marko Hammarberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Westerberg in the 28th minute of play. Niklas Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Nordstedt having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Karl-Axel Hedkvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Karl-Axel Hedkvist came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Överum BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Axel Hedkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute of the match, Niklas Axelsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rickard Nordstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

A collision led to Östra Gärdets AIK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Manfred Zachrisson hit a great ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Gunnar Aronsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Överum BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Aronsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Överum BF's Daniel Lindqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Nordstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Östra Gärdets AIK's Oskar Westerberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Oskar Westerberg struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Marko Hammarberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östra Gärdets AIK. Överum BF's Karl-Axel Hedkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Överum BF booed when Östra Gärdets AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Aronsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rickard Nordstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Axel Hedkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Aronsson in the 87th minute of play forced Östra Gärdets AIK's goalkeeper Rickard Nordstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Östra Gärdets AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Axelsson came free, but Rickard Nordstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes, Östra Gärdets AIK's Mikael Majman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marko Hammarberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Östra Gärdets AIK reached it. Oskar Westerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Hammarberg having to interfere. Överum BF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
