Fredrik Bäcklin had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Åke Göransson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 21 minutes into the match, Klacksparksgänget IF's goalkeeper Fredrik Bäcklin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Oskar Mårtensson. Jens-Ola Gerdberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Bergkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Oskar Mårtensson got free with Fredrik Bäcklin in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Åke Göransson was the one to do the kick off. Klacksparksgänget IF's Jens-Ola Gerdberg got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaf Wikander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Bergkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Gustaf Wikander charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaf Wikander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Klacksparksgänget IF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. The Platon FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Platon FC's Karl-Oskar Mårtensson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Karl-Oskar Mårtensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fredrik Bäcklin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Platon FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
