Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) ÖTSK's Ted Fredriksson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Johnny Sillén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigvard Berggren hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Christer Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Sillén in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ÖTSK's Karl-Åke Törnqvist got a free kick in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the game, ÖTSK's Ted Fredriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Karl-Åke Törnqvist made a precise shot to the right of Richard Åkesson. Såtenäs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ove Odeen's late challenge caught a ÖTSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ove Odeen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ÖTSK booed when Såtenäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Odeen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, ÖTSK's Karl Pettersson tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ÖTSK's zone, Johnny Sillén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Blomqvist came out of the goal and Johnny Sillén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Fredriksson in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Ted Fredriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Åkesson. Såtenäs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Fredriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Lars-Erik Lööf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Greger Rosén hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Johnny Sillén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ÖTSK's Christer Blomqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johnny Sillén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Christer Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Blomqvist was a little too slow when Lars-Erik Lööf got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Såtenäs's Johnny Sillén slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christer Blomqvist. That made the score 2-3 after 48 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnny Sillén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Aron Västlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÖTSK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Västlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Åkesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ove Odeen got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Johnny Sillén came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Såtenäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Sillén couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Såtenäs's Richard Åkesson got control of the ball when Karl-Åke Törnqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Såtenäs's Lars-Erik Lööf in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ÖTSK's goalie prevented a goal. Christer Blomqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greger Rosén went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Ted Fredriksson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Åkesson. That made the score 3-4 in the 79 minute of play. Richard Åkesson was a little too slow when Karl-Åke Törnqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Sillén in the 91st minute of play forced ÖTSK's goalkeeper Christer Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Johnny Sillén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Såtenäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Sillén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
