Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stig-Arne Åkerman got the match started through his kick off. Leonard Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Finnerödja BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Hammarberg to maneuver through the defense. Sigvard Vik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Finnerödja BK got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Morat. 12 minutes into the match, Stig-Arne Åkerman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Finnerödja BK's Roger Åkesson. Roger Åkesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Sigvard Vik took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Roger Åkesson to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd minute of the match Freddie Gregersson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Edvin Almkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Jonathan Albäck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Edvin Almkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Albäck in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Edvin Almkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonard Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Almkvist having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match Freddie Gregersson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Edvin Almkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sven-Edvin Almkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Albäck's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Jonathan Albäck took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Edvin Almkvist. Sven-Edvin Almkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Albäck made a kick off. Jonathan Albäck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Edvin Almkvist having to make a save. Kent Lundhberg's late challenge caught a Finnerödja BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Lundhberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pirajorna's Kent Lundhberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Börge Smedfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finnerödja BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Börge Smedfeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Edvin Almkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Pirajorna getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kent Lundhberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajorna's zone, Leonard Åström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Edvin Almkvist came out of the goal and Leonard Åström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Albäck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Edvin Almkvist was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Sven-Edvin Almkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Sven-Edvin Almkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Åström in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Stig-Arne Åkerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Finnerödja BK booed when Pirajorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Fors didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Bergdal got free with Sven-Edvin Almkvist in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonard Åström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Finnerödja BK's Freddie Gregersson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sven-Edvin Almkvist but with some difficulty. Jonathan Albäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Almkvist having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Leonard Åström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Albäck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Sven-Edvin Almkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Finnerödja BK's Jonathan Albäck in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirajorna's goalie prevented a goal. Östen Åkesson charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Östen Åkesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Finnerödja BK booed when Pirajorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Leonard Åström notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Pirajorna's Sven-Edvin Almkvist. Sven-Edvin Almkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Finnerödja BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
