After having played for 5 minutes, Sigvard Vik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirajorna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigvard Vik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Arne Bocklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajorna's zone, Kenny Classon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Edvin Almkvist came out of the goal and Kenny Classon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bengt-Arne Bocklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Kent Lundhberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirajorna and the Love United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pirajorna getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kent Lundhberg hit a great ball. When Love United's Kenny Classon in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirajorna's goalie prevented a goal. Love United's Jan-Olof Asklöv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Åkerman in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Roy Hedman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Love United's Bengt-Arne Bocklund got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robin Dalkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Stig-Arne Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Bocklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sven-Edvin Almkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the game, Kenny Classon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Stig-Arne Åkerman made the kick off in the second half. Roy Hedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sven-Edvin Almkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Bocklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Edvin Almkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Arne Bocklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Love United's Bengt-Arne Bocklund got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Bengt-Arne Bocklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Love United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Arne Bocklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Arne Bocklund in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Edvin Almkvist saved Pirajorna from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, Pirajorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Nord to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Classon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Arne Bocklund in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Edvin Almkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Sven-Edvin Almkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Love United's Kenny Classon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kenny Classon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Sven-Edvin Almkvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kent Lundhberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 90 played minutes Pirajorna got a freekick which was hit by Kent Lundhberg. Sven-Edvin Almkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Bocklund in the 93rd minute of the match. Sigvard Vik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Olof Asklöv having to interfere. Kenny Classon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Sven-Edvin Almkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Love United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
