Leif Kilman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Öman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Åman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Borgund FF's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Kilman came free, but Dennis Öman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malte Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Hök having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Rolfsson in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Öman saved Borgund FF from getting behind. In the 26th minute, one of Borgund FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borgund FF. The referee gave Skagersvik BK a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tony Olsman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Borgund FF's Dennis Öman. 0-1. The supporters of Borgund FF booed when Skagersvik BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Helberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Leif Kilman fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skagersvik BK's protests and gave Leif Kilman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Skagersvik BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Kilman to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Borgund FF booed when Skagersvik BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Åman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Rolfsson in the 95th minute of play forced Borgund FF's goalkeeper Dennis Öman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Borgund FF were the better team. Borgund FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
