In the 14th minute Douglas Broman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Selemba's Tom Klack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Broman in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Selemba's Johnny Örtendahl got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Douglas Broman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tom Klack was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Per Ferm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Douglas Broman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Klack having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Broman in the 34th minute of play forced FC Selemba's goalkeeper Tom Klack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malcolm Simonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Klack having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Douglas Broman put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tom Klack. Jonatan Tidéksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Lundkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Börge Lundkvist struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jonatan Tidéksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Selemba. Hamneda's Douglas Broman got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per Ferm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes Hamneda got a freekick which was hit by Billy Bergqvist. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamneda's goalkeeper Jonatan Tidéksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Selemba's Bertil Sikström got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Hamneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Tholsson to maneuver through the defense. Tom Klack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Simonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Sikström during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hamneda booed when FC Selemba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Sikström didn't get a good kick on the ball.
