Bror Kjellman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Salqvist in the 6th minute of play forced Bro's goalkeeper Peder Bållström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Bro's goalkeeper Peder Bållström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pontus Lundgren. In the 8th minute Evert Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Bållström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peder Bållström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Forsberg in the 14th minute of play. Christer Tidéksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Erik Ekblom kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bro's Christer Tidéksson got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Freddie Edström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Tidéksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evert Forsberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Bro booed when Harads was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Stor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Christer Tidéksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bro's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Tidéksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn Fernström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christer Tidéksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bro getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Karl-Erik Ekblom hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Salqvist notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bro's Peder Bållström. Peder Bållström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joseph Andreasson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Harads's Jens-Ove Sander tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bro's Peder Bållström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Salqvist in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Wilhelm Salqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harads fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Peder Bållström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Forsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ove Sander made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Evert Forsberg however managed to control.
