Ernst Hultin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Valler in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Hudiksvall RK's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Forsberg came free, but Ernst Hultin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hudiksvall RK's Ernst Hultin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Forsberg in the 8th minute of play. Evert Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Forsberg in the 15th minute of play forced Hudiksvall RK's goalkeeper Ernst Hultin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Hudiksvall RK got a freekick which was hit by Frans Pilblad. Jens-Ove Sander was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ulf Holmstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Pontus Lundgren sped through Hudiksvall RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernst Hultin. In the 28th minute Evert Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst Hultin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pontus Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Evert Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pontus Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philip Täman might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernst Hultin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Täman ran back to his position shaking his head. Evert Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ernst Hultin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evert Forsberg scored 0-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernst Hultin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Evert Forsberg made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ulf Holmstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hudiksvall RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Holmstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn Fernström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, Harads was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Valler to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Hudiksvall RK's Ernst Hultin got control of the ball when Pontus Lundgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Forsberg in the 64th minute of play forced Hudiksvall RK's goalkeeper Ernst Hultin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Hudiksvall RK's goalkeeper Ernst Hultin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pontus Lundgren. After a defensive mix-up in Hudiksvall RK's zone, Pontus Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernst Hultin came out of the goal and Pontus Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pontus Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Hudiksvall RK got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Eliasson. In the 73rd minute, Evert Forsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Pontus Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harads's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evert Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernst Hultin made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Pontus Lundgren sent off a good shot on target. Pontus Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Hultin having to interfere. During the 90th minute of the match Tobias Valler completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tobias Valler a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Harads getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tobias Valler hit a great ball. Pontus Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Ernst Hultin made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Harads left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hudiksvall RK.
