Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Villiam Mellbad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif Ålberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Walroth's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Fredrik Bern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Käcker having to interfere. Leif Ålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Walroth in the 11th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Villiam Mellbad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Munkfors's Leif Ålberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Christian Nordstedt fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Munkfors's protests and gave Christian Nordstedt a yellow card for diving instead. Alexander Ek hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Olov Felin, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 17 played minutes Munkfors got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Ek. Villiam Mellbad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Leif Ålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Munkfors fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Kenneth Käcker made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Fredrik Bern sent off a good shot on target. Fredrik Bern recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 minutes of play, Munkfors's Fredrik Bern made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Käcker was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Gustav Wall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kent Walroth to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Munkfors's zone, Villiam Mellbad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Ålberg came out of the goal and Villiam Mellbad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenneth Käcker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Wall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Max Vidman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Munkfors's Fredrik Bern, in the 61st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Munkfors. Gustav Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kenneth Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Fredrik Bern managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Munkfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Bern was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Fredrik Bern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Munkfors's Gustav Wall got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leif Ålberg made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Villiam Mellbad sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Munkfors defense, Villiam Mellbad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leif Ålberg. The Munkfors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Ålberg should have stopped the shot. Munkfors's Leif Ålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Vidman in the 88th minute of play. If Kent Walroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
