Spectators: 6686 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 0) Konga's Arne Vallgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tony Alegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 played minutes Konga got a freekick which was hit by Klas Wallmark. Motståndarlaget's Jan Lindqvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Konga. In the 9th minute, Arne Vallgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Konga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Motståndarlaget's goalkeeper Gert Trulsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ture Axelsson. With his leg Gert Trulsson managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Konga's Ture Axelsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gert Trulsson was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Arne Vallgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arne Vallgren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 22 minutes, Ture Axelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Konga and the Motståndarlaget players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Konga getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ture Axelsson hit a great ball. Tony Alegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Motståndarlaget's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Vallgren came free, but Gert Trulsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes, Stig-Ove Alegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Motståndarlaget and the Konga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Motståndarlaget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Alegren to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Klas Wallmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Alegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Konga's zone, Tony Alegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Algren came out of the goal and Tony Alegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tony Alegren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrik Algren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. If Tony Alegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Malm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Konga getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Thor Olsson hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Gunnar Malm rounded Konga's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Konga's Henrik Algren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Malm in the 58th minute of play. Tony Alegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Henrik Algren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Konga's zone, Gunnar Malm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Algren came out of the goal and Gunnar Malm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Motståndarlaget's Tony Alegren got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Konga getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Thor Olsson hit a great ball. 2-2 became the score in the 78th minute when Tony Alegren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Konga booed when Motståndarlaget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Alegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Konga getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Arne Vallgren hit a great ball. Tony Alegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Henrik Algren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Vallgren in the 97th minute of play forced Motståndarlaget's goalkeeper Gert Trulsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Motståndarlaget were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
