The referee ignored Burseryd's protests and gave Axel Hellgren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tallåsen booed when Burseryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Hellgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Bennet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Bivall came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Tallåsen's Timmy Blomqvist. But to his dismay, Timmy Blomqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Herbert Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32ndth minute of the game Timmy Blomqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burseryd's Mikael Bivall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Burseryd getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Magne Billström hit a great ball. Maximilian Bennet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Bivall having to interfere. Viggo Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burseryd's Mikael Bivall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Bennet in the 44th minute of play. Leif Gudmundsson made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Magne Billström sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
