Konga IF's Thomas Wennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Blomqvist in the 15th minute of play. Hanaskog's Einar Odin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Uggstedt in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes, Konga IF's Dick Sandström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Einar Odin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Konga IF reached it. Jörgen Uggstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Odin having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Hanaskog's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Uggstedt came free, but Einar Odin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Vallgren hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the game's 32nd minute Konga IF's Mats Skräddare took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Einar Odin and thus the score was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arne Sjödin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Einar Odin saved Hanaskog from getting behind. If David Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Konga IF's goalkeeper Thomas Wennersten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristoffer Svanström. Jörgen Uggstedt took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einar Odin. Einar Odin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Blomqvist made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Torgny Strandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Uggstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Odin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne Sjödin got free with Einar Odin in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Sören Åman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Mats Skräddare sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Einar Odin skillfully saved the ball. In the 98th play minute Joakim Siggesson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Einar Odin. 0-5. The Hanaskog supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Konga IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Konga IF.
