Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sigvard Vennerlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eskil Olsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Gunnar Mellbad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jörgen Ferm scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Österberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 played minutes Backe BK got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Sundén. The audience was convinced that Otto Ahlkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eskil Olsson was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Gunnar Mellbad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Österberg having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Elias Bergström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Påryd RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Backe BK the free kick. Axel Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Ferm in the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Mellbad in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Österberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Otto Ahlkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Simon Blomqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Backe BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Påryd RK the free kick. In the 29th minute, Simon Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Kjell-Arne Örtendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Sjöman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Olsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Ahlkvist in the 43rd minute of play forced Backe BK's goalkeeper Eskil Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Backe BK's zone, Sigvard Vennerlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eskil Olsson came out of the goal and Sigvard Vennerlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Mellbad to make the kick off. Otto Ahlkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eskil Olsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Jörgen Ferm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Axel Österberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Otto Ahlkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Påryd RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Ahlkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sigvard Vennerlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eskil Olsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sigvard Vennerlund ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute, Elias Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Mellbad in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Österberg saved Påryd RK from getting behind. Gunnar Mellbad struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Axel Österberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Backe BK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicklas Sundén in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Österberg saved Påryd RK from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Kurt Lustig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eskil Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Ahlkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eskil Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Vennerlund in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigvard Vennerlund in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eskil Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Ahlkvist in the 90th minute of play forced Backe BK's goalkeeper Eskil Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eskil Olsson came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Påryd RK's Otto Ahlkvist. But to his dismay, Otto Ahlkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Backe BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
