Evert Lindblom struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jan-Ove Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balenciaga. After 8 played minutes Balenciaga got a freekick which was hit by Börge Lindblom. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Blomqvist in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isac Karlstedt saved Balenciaga from getting behind. In the 11th minute of the match Jens-Åke Gabrielsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Ove Pettersson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Evert Lindblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernst Falkrans's late challenge caught a Balenciaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernst Falkrans helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Balenciaga booed when Lappland BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Falkrans didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vidar Bergdal in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isac Karlstedt saved Balenciaga from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Lappland BK's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Pettersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Lindblom. 36 minutes into the game, Vidar Bergdal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isac Karlstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vidar Bergdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Karlstedt having to interfere. Oscar Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Isac Karlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isac Karlstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lennart Biörling went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roy Boberg to make the kick off. Evert Lindblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Linus Hasselqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isac Karlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Blomqvist in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Oscar Blomqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isac Karlstedt. That made the score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. Isac Karlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Balenciaga getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Linus Hasselqvist hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Oscar Blomqvist took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Isac Karlstedt to make any attempt to save it. When Örjan Blomkvist fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balenciaga's protests and gave Örjan Blomkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Balenciaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Blomkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Oscar Blomqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vidar Bergdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jan-Ove Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Boberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lappland BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
